David Frederick Bennett, b. 17 October 1856 at 16 Stirling Street, Tillicoultry, Clackmannanshire; m. Annie Lucy Oliver (1868 – 1960) at Portsea, Hampshire; d. 24 August 1933 at Victoria Infirmary, Glasgow.
John Bennet was the son of David Bennett and Jane Kerr.
Margaret Young was the daughter of James Young and Margaret Swanson.
